Today we are re-living the times of Jeremiah.
The shadows of evening are lengthening.
Doom and gloom await the half-hearted and the half-ready.
But exciting times are in store for those who hear and heed the Good News of Jeremiah.
Those who trust in the Sovereign Lord shall rise and shine like stars in the night.
This is our 13th season of 40-Day prayer.
We will journey through the life and message of Jeremiah.
May it provoke a deeper soul search and preparation for the challenges ahead.
So that when darkness falls, when the testing gets severe, and all that can be shaken is shaken, our hearts will remain forever true:
True to God. True to our calling.
True to His purpose for our nation and world.
And ready for a new day dawning!
